The Bot of War is a stage in the Tentacle System in Astro Bot. This 100% Bot of War Walkthrough guides you to every bot and puzzle piece in this Astro Bot level. Plus, find all of the Bot of War ravens to get the Eyes Of The All-Father Trophy with this guide! Unlock this stage by completing the levels through Tentacle System Boss (Wako Tako).
If you’re just looking for the ravens, you can use the checklist, or you can follow the complete walkthrough for more detailed descriptions:
When flying in, keep to the left to fly into a flock of ravens. There’s a translucent Odin’s Raven among the bunch! A box marks a ledge you should be able to get to. Hit the ice below it to reveal a trampoline, and use it to jump up. Defeat the enemies with R2, and look to your left before crossing the makeshift bridge to find an Odin’s Raven. Strike it to collect it.
First, head to the right towards the giant tortoise. Quickly throw your axe at the Odin’s Raven above once the icon notifies you that you can. Head to the left of the checkpoint now. You’ll see an Odin’s Raven up high on a ledge on the upper right. You can hit it with an R2 axe throw from down here. Look up from atop the serpent’s head, and you’ll see another Odin’s Raven. Throw the axe from here to get it! Look to the left of this checkpoint to see an Odin’s Raven perched on the wall. Throw your axe to collect it!
To the right of the tree is another Odin’s Raven holding a bot head, but not just any bot head: It’s Mimir Bot! Aka Smartest Man Alive. Behind the giant axe statue you knocked over with the giant log is an Odin’s Raven! With this last Raven, you’ll earn the Eyes of the All-Father Trophy!
Jump down to the right of where you collected the Thunder Goddess bot to find a fancy chest. Open it to get a Puzzle Piece! Head out of the nook and go to the left towards that big, yellow, metal, spiky thing. A box marks a ledge you should be able to get to. Hit the ice below it to reveal a trampoline, and use it to jump up. Defeat the enemies with R2, and look to your left before crossing the makeshift bridge to find an Odin’s Raven. Strike it to collect it.
Throw the axe at the enemy across the way from here to defeat it, revealing an axe marker on the other side. Throw the axe at to create a tightrope for you to cross. Don’t recall the axe until you’re on the other side! There’s a lot to see here!
Jump down to the left and break the ice here in front of the circular pond. Then, pull the cable with square, bringing up a horn. This horn will summon the serpent Jormungandr! And there’s a bot on top of its head: Thor Bot, aka Thunder God. Look up from atop the serpent’s head, and you’ll see another Odin’s Raven. Throw the axe from here to get it!
Look to the left of this checkpoint to see an Odin’s Raven perched on the wall. Throw your axe to collect it! To the right of this checkpoint, there’s a block of ice with a raven on top of it. Break the ice to access the trampoline below it, and use it to jump high enough to break the collapsible wall in front of you by throwing the axe.
Circle around the feathered raven tree to find a Puzzle Piece! The last raven is up farther ahead, so continue on. Behind the giant axe statue you knocked over with the giant log is an Odin’s Raven! With this last Raven, you’ll earn the Eyes of the All-Father Trophy! Finally, use the trampoline to get on top of the toppled giant axe. Throw your axe at the incoming enemies, and then the bell, to defeat them.
There’s a sleeping, giant, robot boar up ahead. It’s Nidhog! Throw your axe at it to wake it. Angry, it’ll charge right at you. Circle around behind it when it charges to avoid getting trampled, then throw your axe at its behind, then recall it. Do this a few times, and eventually, its backside will break, revealing a cable. Pull on this cable to swing it into the icy structure just beyond here. You’ll get a Rescued Ship Part for the trouble! It’s Mothership’s SSD (Allows space travel faster than the speed of loading.) Now it’s time for Crash Site Detour 2.
